I actually like Heather and Adam together. She has grown more animated and he has softened up a bit. At least with her, anyway. She was quite a hottie today! LOL Mason was a cutie with Coleen. Phylis, as usual, is EVIL. Victor....well, Victor is Victor! Bleck...again I say that "Sabrina" must hate her job right now. Is it worth it? LOL

MaryB: Well, our neighborhood is green and pretty. Some areas have odd and even watering days. We have cut back on our watering quite a bit. There are a couple brown/dead lawns but they are the foreclosure homes. There is this one newer development that we pass when we are on our way to one of our camping lakes. Apparently about 90% of those people had those horrible loans and they have, literally, walked away. The development looks like a ghost town.

What is everyone doing for the 4th of July? We are going to a friend's house. I am taking potato salad and a pineapple upside down cake. Have a wonderful 4th everyone.

Betty Boop I am so glad your son came to visit you! You should have gone home with him for a visit, it would of been nice for you not to be alone for awhile. I know that I have always wanted to visit Hawaii and some day I will.

Sunny this morning and now it is raining and thundering, again!

May you all have a Happy 4th of July!!

Where the heck is everyone?

Maybe Veektor likes to kis Sabrina because she has less makeup on. Nikki does do the makeup thing thick. Her lips are always gooooey looking, don't you think? Maybe it's Nikki that doesn't like kissing?
The Veektor/ Sabrina kisses are never too long or involved though do you think?

The writing for Victoria is much better of late.
There's so much swweeeetness between Jill and her son, both ways, surely something is gonna blow. Jill and Kay are snipey too.

We are having a cool morning here after a hot yesterday.
I'm on my way to get a pre-wedding pedicure on my knobby aging toes.
Hot pink to match my sandals and shirt.

KKO...is it true there are dead lawns all over your area? Are there rules against irrigation? NPR had this piece on someone being offered money to let their lawn go.

Mary B. - I am making lemon bars for our 4th of July picnic. Come join us in Ruidoso!!
I predicted a while ago that David would be the one that killed Ji Min. I thought maybe it had something to do with money he dug up at Catherine's place that Amber had buried. Maybe Walter knew about it and wanted it, or Ji Min owed a gambling debt to Walter and he was going to try to get it for Walter to pay off debt. Who knows, bet it had something to do with the money, though!!

I think Sabrina is beginning to show she is not the "sweet little thing" she was first portrayed. The show will be better if she's not so sweet and such a goody two shoes!

Sparkie ........ hope hubby is starting to feel a little better. Great parade yesterday in Dover ........... found out it's the longest-running Canada Day parade in the country. I took about 200 photos, lol, ........ some were of the boat parade, and the rest were the street parade. I couldn't believe the float from Len's Mill Store --- the theme was "The Lion Sleeps To-night", and the costumes were amazing. Also, the "rainbow" float from the Gay community ---- marvellous!! Lots of bagpipes, my dad would have loved it. Happy 141st, Canada.

Y & R ........... Peter Bergman looks very good these days --- he's lost his puffiness --- is it botox, or is he off the booze?

It would not be believable for Sabrina to be pregnant by a former boyfriend at this point. She has been on the show for months now and her tummy is as flat as it can be. I am wondering if she really IS pregnant! Maybe she is going to mysteriously lose the baby. The tension between Sabrina and Vicki is surely hostile. Why did Sabrina feel she needed to go visit Nikki? We all knew there was something else with David....we were just waiting. Of course Victor will have to save Nikki. I think it is written in his contract that he gets to be a hero once a year and always gets a much younger woman. Think about it!
kko
- Tue Jul 1 13:57:14 MDT 2008
So now we know the rest of the story (as Paul Harvey says). David is a killer, poor Ji Mein (sp).So how was Ji Mein mixed up with Walter the loanshark? Is it a coincidence that Jeff' old girlfriend was Korean? Will Victor have to save Nikki?

I still think Sabrina may be pregnant by her old boyfriend and that is why she didn't want to visit the museum and that is who Jack is finding our about. Knowing how Jack works the boyfried will be coming to Genoa City for something to do with the magazine only to come face to face with Sabrina if Jack has his way to cause some trouble for Victor.

So far the sun is out and it is hot.

To all who read the previous post by Pinkie--please read this!

Pinkie, not only is it amazing that George Carlin wrote that, it's also not true. That passage, called "The Paradox of our Age," was written by someone named Dr. Bob Moorehead, a pastor from Seattle. And, not only did George Carlin not write it, but he was angered that he was ever associated with it.

These comments regarding that beautiful piece of writing are taken directly from Carlin's own website:

"One of the more embarrassing items making the internet/e-mail rounds is a sappy load of sh** called "The Paradox of Our Time." The main problem I have with it is that as true as some of the expressed sentiments may be, who really gives a shit? Certainly not me. It's not only bad prose and poetry, it's weak philosophy. I hope I never sound like that."

Yep, he really called it a sappy load of sh**. I knew something like that passage could not have possibly come from him, and all I had to do was google the first phrase to find out who the true author was. That passage is waaaay too profound to be written by the likes of someone like George Carlin, whose only schtick to get laughs was being obscene, mean spirited, and vulgar.

If you couldn't tell already, I don't care at all for personalities like George Carlin. I abhor violence, vulgarity, and being mean, just to get attention and make money. I feel the same way about Quintin Tarantino and all who make movies of this nature.

If anybody really paid attention to the comments that were made by the media after his death, did anyone notice that comments like, "What a wonderful, loving, caring human being. A great man," etc., were absent? I noticed this even more profoundly because the media DID say these things about that man that passed right before Carlin who was from Meet the Press, who apparently was a great guy according to all who knew him.

This whole thing has got me thinking, what really matters when we pass? Is it fame, fortune? Making money by telling dirty jokes? Or how we came across to other people?

I don't mean to speak ill of the dead, but I just couldn't let anyone think that he wrote that. And obviously Pinkie that's not your fault, either, as this was widely circulated on the internet. Sorry to any posters who are Carlin fans, this of course is JMHO.

KKO I have to agree about lil Richard. Poor guy was really having trouble "acting". He did seem confused. When they took the wedding pix with him, he wasn't looking into the camera and it was almost spookie. There were way too many pregnant pauses too. I thought the fact that Jeff and Glo are there to get married, and they were supposed to show they care for each other, Glo did a bit of OVERacting. Is this gonna work?

David is still a schmuck.

MaryB
- Mon Jun 30 20:41:07 MDT 2008
Wasn't David afraid that the elevator door would open when he was talking to Nikki and she would hear the casino noises? Gloria is usually so well dressed that I was stunned with her wedding outfit. Mismatched and not attractive at all. Remember when "Catherine" said on the soap awards..."I bet you thought I was dead?" Well, that's the way I felt today when Little Richard was on the show! OMG! How spaced out and bug eyed and confused did he look!?

Chole is the little snit you think she is.

Weekend was fun, I'm tired today. Poor old lady. Didn't see as many faces I recognized in home town. LOL probably more in the nursing home. Nora was a sparkly girl. My sisters agree, SHE IS THE SWEETEST BABY. G
We have a busy "wedding week" ahead. Sister's wedding on Saturday.

Wondering how they'll get Dru back. Will she be a ghost to tell Neil he can move on? Just a guess. That seems to be how they are getting people back in GC.

Hello everyone We are still moving 1 more day and we shall be done We are battered and bruised and Oh so tired and the 105+ temp isnt helping I have black and blue marks on top of one another ,,, '
I was sent this and thought it So wonderful .I have to post it ..In a time when we are all getting older and Life s just flying by I think its something to take to heart.....Enjoy I did ...

Isn't it amazing that George Carlin - comedian of the 70's and 80's - could write something so very eloquent...and so very appropriate.

A Message by George Carlin:

The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings but shorter tempers, wider Freeways, but narrower viewpoints. We spend more, but have less, we buy more, but enjoy less. We have bigger houses and smaller families, more conveniences, but less time. We have more degrees but less sense, more knowledge, but less judgment, more experts, yet more problems, more medicine, but less wellness.

We drink too much, smoke too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get too angry, stay up too late, get up too tired, read too little, watch TV too much, and pray too seldom.

We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values. We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often.

We've learned how to make a living, but not a life. We've added years to life not life to years. We've been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet a new neighbor. We conquered outer space but not inner space We've done larger things, but not better things.

We've cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul. We've conquered the atom, but not our prejudice. We write more, but learn less. We plan more, but accomplish less. We've learned to rush, but not to wait. We build more computers to hold more information, to produce more copies than ever, but we communicate less and less.

These are the times of fast foods and slow digestion, big men and small character, steep profits and shallow relationships. These are the days of two incomes but more divorce, fancier houses, but broken homes. These are days of quick trips, disposable diapers, throwaway morality, one night stands, overweight bodies, and pills that do everything from cheer, to quiet, to kill. It is a time when there is much in the showroom window and nothing in the stockroom. A time when technology can bring this letter to you, and a time when you can choose either to share this insight, or to just hit delete...

Remember; spend some time with your loved ones, because they are not going to be around forever.

Remember, say a kind word to someone who looks up to you in awe, because that little person soon will grow up and leave your side.

Remember, to give a warm hug to the one next to you, because that is the only treasure you can give with your heart and it doesn't cost a cent.

Remember, to say, 'I love you' to your partner and your loved ones, but most of all mean it. A kiss and an embrace will mend hurt when it comes from deep inside of you.

Remember to hold hands and cherish the moment for someday that person will not be there again.

Give time to love, give time to speak! And give time to share the precious thoughts in your mind.

AND ALWAYS REMEMBER:

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

If you don't send this to at least 8 people....Who cares?

George Carlin

Also loved Nikki's comeback to Sabrina's mom!! I knew she looked familiar, but realize that she was the Admiral's fiance on Jag. He found her with another man.

Mary W, those were the actors real ages.

Frances, I had today off to go to the eye doctor's and when I got home I was talking to my mom and she asked me how old I thought Nickie was. I found a page that gave all their birthdates, thought it was interesting.Since my girls are grown and most of the time its just me or Fireman and I here once I'm home from work I do have time. I probably should be cleaning the house or something, but I do have my lazy moments!

I also thought it was interesting that on Bold and Beauitful the lady playing Beth Logan is only 9 years older than the actress that plays her daughter Brooke!

If only we could age ourselves like they do on the soaps.

MaryW.........No, not MedQuist. I am working from home for a doctor who has a small family practice. She's so nice. And it's so easy. The only thing she dictates is a summary after each patient visit. I type it up on label paper, so there may be 3 or 4 patients per page, and she cuts the label paper into sections....for each patient, peels the paper and sticks it in their records. So, if I don't understand a word, no big deal, I just leave a blank and she fills it in. She's soooooo nice. She told me she was having trouble with her old transcriptionist, so she prayed about it (she's not overly religious, don't mean it to sound like that) and then she received my letter offering my services, so it was meant to be.

Match Game used to come on at 3:30 p.m. EST. I remember coming home from school and watching it. Well, at least on the east coast, that's when they aired it.

Mary from Maine--are those real ages or their fictonal soap ages?

I would really like to see Nina and her now grown son Phillip back on the show....could bring some excitement into Kay and Jill's dynamics...(another thing for them to disagree on LOL)

Jean I LOVED Match Game 74, I used to watch that show with my grandma and grandpa when I would spend the night at their house, probably before or after Lawrence Welk came on. Of course at the time I didn't understand all the sexual innuendo on the show, I was more fascinated with how pretty and neat the red triangles and green circles were. LOL Of course when I grew up and watched reruns I thought the innuendos were hysterical...and couldn't believe my grandparents let me watch that!

PS...does anyone know if originally Match Game was on at night because I could have sworn we watched it at night over dinner....

kko and Jean--laughing out loud at your repulsion for Victor and David--poor Nikki!

Frances--I know someone who works for MedQuist...a medical transcription company...that happen to be the one you're working for?

Okay, I'm back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG...OMG...OMG!

The past few months have been just NUTS and I'm sorry I haven't checked in. Here's a quick list of why I've been MIA.......

sister had surgery to remove a baseball-sized cyst off her ovary.

Harry has been in SERIOUS pain with chronic herniated discs between C4 and C5 and "multiple areas of arthritis" as shown by MRI.

Zack played lacrosse and track (OMG...track takes up your whole weekend).

Casie decided to play soccer.....Yes, my couch potato daughter.

Zack's 8th grade graduation was like a high school grad.......dance, the actual graduation with mass.......OMG........decorating for the dance........I should post pictures, it's ridiculous for 8th grade.

Kenzey, my niece, fell off monkey bars and broke her wrist, needed surgery.

I got my first medical transcriptionist job......the doctor is a sweetheart..........nicest person I ever met, I swear!

Zack had a party planned for all 43 classmates........then the weather changed and it was supposed to rain/thunder......it was a pool party. I cancelled, it NEVER freaking rained, not one drop.

Rescheduled party was just this past Wednesday night. Perfect weather, but "ONLY" 25 kids were able to attend the rescheduled party.

We leave for the beach tomorrow morning..........I HAVE NOTHING DONE YET FOR THAT!!!!!!!!!!! Stressing big time. Just want to be on the beach, don't even care if I look like a whale this year. And tan? I laid out maybe 3 days in the past few weeks. I hate being white at the beach.

Gotta leave my Ollie at the kennel. They take great care of him, but I still worry.

FINALLY caught up on Y&R, literally just this morning!

I skimmed the posts..........Happy Belated Birthday to whoever I missed..........nurse connie, I know you were one.

nurse connie......Congrats on your job.

I will be gone again for the next week.........but I will try to never stay away as long as I did again.

Our area is a mess! There is a BIG fire in our county and we have a LOT of smoke. For three days now it has looked like an overcast, foggy winter day but it is between 90 and 100 degrees! "They" are telling everyone with breathing problems to stay inside. I don't have any breathing problems and it makes my chest hurt to breath that air! The sensored street lights are all weirded out and are coming on when it really gets thick.

I have NEVER thought "Victor" was a good looking man...young or old! Maybe it is because I hate the character so much. I need one of Jean's BB every time he gets that stupid, sappy "my viagra just kicked in" smile on his face! It really makes his eyes squint closed! LOL LOL I think Amber will be cute as an animated version of herself on the web site. I wonder what actor is going to play "River" Baldwin when we finally see him?

I have watched from the begining and yeah there used to be a lot more regulars, but there were also new people who came and went and who blended with the older regulars. It used to be the Brooks' and the Foster's, the William's family and the Chancelor's, and then the Abbotts, the Winter's and so on. I remember when Cricket was the new kid on the block as well as Danny Romaloti (sp),Brock and Nina, David Kimbal, Chase Benson, Brad the pool boy, the professor that Tracy Abbott played around with, Julia etc. They all come and go. Even the old soaps like Love of Life and Search for Tomorrow and The Edge of Night(Adam Drake, Mike Karr), and Secret Storm (Father Mark Redding!!!) had to have new people to keep the storylines going .

Victor I have always found to be good looking, and for a man his age he isn't half bad.I was glad to see Mrs. C take an Emmy the other night, about time!

Jean: I like the main characters too but the problem is that it's a small cast so everybody has "been with" everyone else. They should call Genoa City Swingtown. Nick/Phyllis and Jack/Sharon switcheroo is so creepy and gross. I can't get used to it. It was similar with Neil-- he was married to Dru, and involved with Olivia. Dru got pregnant with Neil's brother Malcolm, and Olivia and Malcolm were involved. Sooooooo....it's nice that now Neil has a girlfriend who isn't part of the extended family. But, I see it coming. He'll get involved with Tyra who has way more personality than Karen. Sorry, I
know you don't watch so that's probably more than you wanted to know!! LOL!

Y&R - Now really, how many $$$$ does the old goat (Victor) have...I mean really. He has spent a fortune on paintings, chateau, needless to say lawyer fees. I bet his accountant is screaming. And BTW, Never have ever thought Victor was handsome, young or old. Yuck.

How many new characters are they going to bring on to this show!!! The reason I at one time watched this show is they always had their main characters, and once in a while bring in someone new for a brief time. Just count how many newbies these horrible writers have brought in, just in the last year or so.

I hurl if I look at him for two sec, (Chow).....dump him, and get rid of his character period.

Phew, see, you don't want me watching, or my comments would be worse...these are kind.

Later - see I actually talked about Y&R. And just from your comments.

PS - I watch the old Match Games at night, and right now they have Leslie Brooks on.

David should be dumped! With Paul's info that Nickie knows about and now all of this Nickie should slam the door.

The actress playing Devon's aunt is Eva Marcille who was the top model.

The little girl playing Ana was on August Rush.

The actress playing Sabrina's mom is Cynthia Sikes she played AJ's love interest on JAG and played a doctor on St. Elsewhere as well as playing on Magnum P I.

Sabrina was happy about the chauteux, but didn't want to go out to the museum or dinner that Victor had planned.

Devon's aunt looks like that America's Next Top Model winner. is it her? Little girl has quite a voice.( Is she the one oprah had on once that was homeless and she helped family get into a new house?)
Maybe on YR the two of them will be a link to Dru coming back. Like Dru will be a friend from a homeless shelter without a memory. She must have had a head injury after falling in the river. This is all just conjecture.

Obviously, I'm not paying very close attention. (Had the same problem in school!) Did Tyra/Anna just show up at the door? I see some competition for Karen. Also, I thought that Sabrina was quite thrilled with the chateau. Did I blink and miss something?

Does anyone know who the actress is who played Sabrina's mother? She looks familiar. Kind of looks like Linda Dano.

POLL QUESTION: Should Nikki take back David?

Yes 0
No 1 (Big fat NO from me.)

Does anyone watch B&B??? I figured out why Beth didn't want to come home. She runs the risk of becoming a great-grandmother!!! LOLOL!!! Geez, the woman would have to be at least mid-sixties and they have an actress who looks like she's in her forties.

Jill is mad because what Jill wants she usually gets and she can't stand Jeff wanting Gloria instead of her. She is upset with Mrs. C because she is writing her memiors and Jill knows how she figured into all of that. Maybe deep down she knows that Gloria and she aren't that much different at all.She also hates Mrs. C taking anyones' side but hers, such as with Nickie and Victoria with the company business, Amber being close to Kay, and Gloria who Mrs. C tries to treat decently.

Devon had family arrive, it is his aunt and her daughter (his cousin).

I think Sabrina's old love might work at one of those places or maybe frequents one of those places that Victor wanted to go?

Today is starting off sunny! Our second day in a row!

also, i hate to see someone as miserable as nicki was -- especially in comparison to the relative happiness of the wedding scenes -- it is so painful because i have been there, done that -- been the sad person dealing with something horrid whilest i know that others are enjoying themselves and being happy -- such an awful dichotomy -- hurt for me to watch

awe...come on Fireman, do you have any exposure stories? I'm sure Fireman's emergency medicine stories might ellicit some ewwww's. I love ER stories that are a little "blue". It's the foibles of humanity that make me chuckle. (A little boy with a tick in an undesirable area. The guy with a vacuum cleaner hose stuck on his weener, the lady witha vibrator stuck in her bum, interesting bite marks. ...enough

Oh, I think David does care, but he's still a creep.
Sabrina is probably better than her mum, but that's a wide highway.
Victor doesn't often have a toothy smile. Sabrina seems to have that power.Just can't help thinking she's part of the million dollar art piece auction. and finally can Janna be that goofy? really?

This Weekend my sissies and I Nora and her mommie are going to a bachelorette party for my Sister. We are going back to our hometown to get the bride a makeup makeover, eat pizza and laugh until we have the "ugly" face. Can't wait. We'll also take Nora to see our 95 year old aunt and 91 year old uncle (my mom's siblings). They'll love her to.

It's so noisy around these parts. City has been repaving and fixing our streets in the subdivision. Will be nice to have the streets shiney smooth.

Sparkie - I have only been in the hospital once, 4 years old for tonsils. I am petrified of hospitals. Ask NC, she made sure when she took me to her office, she went a way where I wouldn't see much hospital....and I was still "bucking" and dragging my heels. So I know what hubby is feeling.

MaryW - Yes the mattress thing was just plain gross. And the second crime scene, the super wanted to know if I wanted to see it, and I said sure, I wanted to see it. What was funny, is that after showing me around, the super got into the refrigerator, and said you want any of this stuff?? (steaks, sticks of butter, etc), and I said EEEEEUUUUU, and he said well I gotta throw it out, so someone should have it. LOLOL

Later - Gotta go for a DR appt, and freaks me just about as much as hospitals.

OHHHHHH, and my favorite people are coming this afternoon.......yeah you guessed it, the out laws. They just invited themselves and I was furious. Let's just say I have a busy calendar for the week, and won't be home much. While I'm at the DR, I'll have him refill my "happy pills" (Xanax). Toots--glad you had a great birthday and your description of what you had for dinner made me hungry...

kko--I think Sabrina is separate from her mom as she does appear to detest her....although I do think given what she said as her wedding vows, she does see Victor as an absentee father figure.

Ladybug--LOVED IT when they stole Sabrina's mom's pictures! Ha ha I'm pretty sure Victoria got the memory card. And agreed--Turns out Sabrina's mom is a bigger "tool" than Adam; as in some examples I've seen in real life too......why do women who don't have a maternal bone in their bodies choose to have children? And why do some women who want them so much have a hard time? We'll never know...

Does anyone else agree that Victor is a LOT more handsome now than when he was young and had a scrawny triangular shaped face?

Mary B--I agree David's a jerk but do you think him leaving Nikki actually means he likes her and doesn't want to ruin her life? I SURE hope someone got a pic of Nora with her chin on her knee!

All these names of past posters that I don't even really know....Jam, Loki, Joanie, Totsie or Tootsie? CoCo, etc. etc., who am I missing?

Mary from Maine--agreed, if I had to live in a house with bars on the windows I would move.

EWW Jean that is so gross about the bloody mattress! You poor thing I'm sorry that you have seen so much crime? That's just awful.

Ok since we are sharing exposure crimes (I can't believe this has happened to so many of us??) I will share mine, I was playing tennis with my mom when I was about 14 and this guy was sitting under a tree watching us and pleasuring himself Can I get an EWWW!

Jean ...... try to understand that although Canada is the second largest geographical country in the world, (second only to Russia), we only have a population of 32 million people ----- USA has 300 million, if you count the illegals, 260 million if you don't); and, we have very strict gun controls, read as: "against the law" ------ so our crime rate is so miniscule compared to yours. I would ABSOLUTELY FREAK OUT if I lived anywhere near a murder scene. lol. Come to Canada, just sing along, "Greeeeeeen acres is the place for me, Greeeeeeen Acres is the place to be"............ Oh, a PS'er - this happened in Kingwood about three weeks ago. In the middle of the night this lady thought she heard something, so got up to look. Saw nothing. A few minutes later she saw a man standing over her while she was in bed. She acted like she was asleep (I would have died of a heart attach), then she said he walked over and looked at her husband. Guessing they were asleep, he then went into their bathroom, and stole jewelry etc. And yes he had a gun. Police came....he came in thru an unlocked window, and they had forgotten to set the alarm that night.

Okay, geez I could write a book.

Really later.

Emelie, glad you are moved, and I bet you never want to see another box. I remember screaming everytime I thought I was thru, and there was another box to unpack. And no never been the Canada....might take you up on the invite sometime!! Has to be Summer tho. LOL

Toots - sounds like you had a great weekend. And that "spread" you all grazed on. Yummy. Made our weekend feast seem feable.

Regarding locking up. Well I have a couple of stories that will make you think.

1 - Just moved to Dallas and there was a "nut" that loved killing nurses (sorry NC). This was a Sunday, and we all were out by the pool at the appt complex. This gal was getting ready for work (her appt was right next to the pool), okay, left her sliding glass door open, and the nut came in and stabbed her about a million times!! (we didn't hear a thing!!). After the crime lab came thru, they threw her bloody stained mattress in the dumpster. Saw that sucker for days. It is still stuck in my mind.

2 - Houston, Dan and I had a very nice condo. One night, the people across the drive were killed execution style, (wrapped in glad wrap, and shot in the head. Dumped them in the trunk of their car, and parked it at the airport. After the crime lab went thru, the supperindentent let me in the condo. It was torn to shreads, blood - they must of put up a pretty good fight. Guess what?? NO breaking in, conclusion - the front door was unlocked.

SOOOOOOOO that is why I always lock up and turn on the alarm. Ohhh I just got the chills remembering that stuff.

lady bug - I was taking out the garbage on night (this was in Dallas), and I turned around, and a guy was standing there butt ass naked. I just stood there, and he just stared for a sec and then walked off. (drugs??) I called the police and they wanted to know details. I didn't look at his salami, so couldn't give them that detail. LOL I was kinda frozen.

Later - enough story telling.

Jean
Houston - Mon Jun 23 10:55:58 MDT 2008
Regarding locking doors, etc. Years ago my sister's neighbor's house was broken into while they were on vacation. After that, my sister was obsessed about it. She refused to go on vacation out of fear. Finally, my parents told her to go and they would house sit. The first night she spent in a motel, in the morning her van was broken into. - My neighbor is totally obsessed. She has state of the art security in her home. Yet, her car has been vandalized three times, at three different relatively safe places. One time she ran into her house to get something she forgot, turned around and there was a man standing in her living room. He was a confused, harmless homeless person. In the few minutes that her door was left unlocked, someone came in.

Personally...I think we attract what we fear. I enjoy the fresh air and keep my ground floor windows open whenever possible. I'm sensible, but not fearful. I live in the city and neither my home or car has ever been vandalized or broken into.

The worst thing that has ever happened to me living in the city for almost 20 years is that a man proudly exposed his very LARGE...um...thing. The worst part of that experience was having to describe the situation to a policeman who looked like he was about fourteen years old!!!

Haven't had the Internet since Friday nor our phone since both are through a cable company even though we don't have cable television. Bad thunder and lightening on Friday took them out. Just got it back today. Thunder is rumbling around again as I type, we have had so many storms, and I do not like them, but at least I am not in the mid west with all their flooding. May God Bless all those affected by the flooding.

I don't think Brad really has the hots for Nickie I just think he wants David in his pocket so he can hold it all over his head if the right time ever occurs, if he does want Nickie I would say it is for the money.

Here we keep our windows open, and we have a one story ranch style home. We are in the country, and crime luckily in Maine is still low compared to many places in the United States although it is not like it used to be. My grandmother never locked her door, I always do. We had a fresh air child from New York a few years ago who told me she wouldn't want to live in a house like ours because we didn't have bars on our windows. I can't even imagine living like that. The good people are jailed in while the hoodlums run about.

AC and heating units are in most all home in this area now days...if not a unit they have a window unit AC....growing up we never had AC till my sister had heart surgery and doc wouldn't let sis come home till we had ac to keep her cool...dad bought one and it sit in dining room window and after doc declared her well they took it out...we live on a hill and get a great breeze most every day...but I'm so use to AC at work I'm going to be comfortable now days....we still have ceil heat in place...your head always got hot and feet cold in the winter...lololol
Mary it's hard for me to think about a fire with it being so hot here lately....
Our back door stays unlocked most all the time....we're in the county and we have a very good neighborhood watch....so fear very little...

Happy late birrrrrrrrrrrrrrrthday to Joanie...sure wish she'd check in and our sweet toots....I'm sure your kids had a fun filled day for you...best wishes always

Well it's coming to an end at work...so sad and I don't have as much time to get on PC as I use to...and I generally have so much to do in the evenings I forget to get on and check site out till I'm in bed...but I miss you all and quote all of you for one thing or another to all..I haven't watched most of week so must look at my tape tonight when I finish supper...I've got fresh green beans and corn cooking now with a fresh peach cobbler in oven...the smelling is driving me crazy....lololol

I thought Brad was trying to trick David for his evil ways because he was such a good friend for Nikki....didn't think he was hot over her again...Davis is a jerk and looks like one...
I loved the style of Sabrina's dress but the sleeve hanging down drove me nuts...too
I just plain old don't like jr...he has an agenda up his sleeve to kill and destroy...IMO

adb glad to know about the mercury...I've to make two big decisions this week...

I think we have all thought there is something strange with Sabrina. What if this is some kind of a mother daughter con team? LOL LOL Remember the mother saying she had taught her all she knew? And then Sabrina said that whole bit about there not going to be any rich and single men for the mother to pick up on?

Pinkie ........ hope it goes well; I've experienced Arizona heat in May when one year it was 106F ----- this is the price for a mild winter, yes?? But I can't take the humidity anymore, either, which we get up here by the Great Lakes ------- our new hometown is waterfront, which helps to moderate the extreme temps, and the winter snowfall.

KKO --- I agree about the ground-level bedroom windows ....... it creeps me out. I won't open them, or the blinds, at night. We're having wrought-iron (fake) fencing installed very SOON, so that I can feel more secure. It's the first time in my life to sleep in a one-level home. Last night I slept down below, in the new guest room ------- windows are too small for anyone to get into me, lol!!!

A good weekend, all. We're still unpacking boxes.

Can anyone else email Jean? I did, but it was returned. Maybe she decided I'm too old for her now, lol lol lol. See my 58 yr. old double chin below .......... lol. It arrived overnight on tuesday.

MaryW: I thought the wedding dress was beautiful and it looked beautiful on her EXCEPT for that whole shoulder thing. It did make me want to put the shoulder strap up. It just looked unbalanced and odd.

Cactus: I know exactly what you mean about Lauren's dress! LOL Seeing her walk away from the back was weird. Looked like the dress was going right up her butt crack! LOL I'd kill for her body, though....sigh......

Jean: At night we are all locked up here, too. This is the first house we have ever owned (there have been 4) that we can't open a bedroom window at night. All the others either were two story or the window was too high off the ground for anyone to get into. This is a single story house with no window in the bedroom....it has french doors. Don't feel safe leaving them open. We do have central air, too.

Well I grew up on SOUTHERN CO and it's damnnnnn hot down there. Many 100 degree days in summer. It's cooler and it's more humid in Northern part where we have a few ponds and lakes. We had a window unit down there, after we were married, and as a kid it was windows open. HEre we have central ac unit but had it on only once so far with afternoon company.

Thought MS Phyllis looked fab in the green but didn't match the red sash on flowergirls one of which IS the quietest child "actor" alive. Surely this cherub is related to TPTB. NO other reason to keep her. She's the winner of no personality. She may be the sweetest child alive (WHICH I DOUBT BECAUSE I TAKE CARE OF THAT BABY) but she's way shy and children are really born SHY. I know this. It's a scientific fact. RREALLY it is.

Yesterday I a had a little thingy cut off my finger. MY MIDDLE FINGER ON THE LEFT HAND. I've had people laughing at me all over the place. Yesterday it throbbed and this AM too. So I had to hold it's whiteness up in the F-you position. I really flip anyone off. But men especially laughed at me.

Wedding was nice for a wedding. BUT Sabrina's mommy is so weird. SO Weird.I thought the strap falling thing was an interesting detail. Her body would look good with a white donut sack on it. Not that she is the SWEETEST . She's got something going on we don't know about.

Full moon tonite, and happy summer to everyone.

That sagging strap on the wedding dress bugged me too.
I don't like seeing anyone with their underwear straps showing.

MaryW: I certainly wanted to pick up Sabrina's off-arm strap, bugged me to no end.
Lauren's dress -- woohoo -- when she walked up the stairs with Abby she may as well have been butt naked.
I couldn't quite see what Phyllis was wearing, but it looked like some huge green monstrosity.
Heather was simple classic black.
Jill had a huge Canadian Maple Leaf as her single neck adornment.
Let's see, I need one more cryptic comment. Oh, SUMMER, couldn't they ad lib their script a little to fit the kid? Nick's saying, "She's SO excited" while the child is sleeping on Phyllis and then starts wimpering when she is supposed to go see what she's supposed to be doing. She's the only child that never seems to be animated in any way or look directly at the camera.
Horse Lovers -- How many carrots can a horse eat without needing a good dose of Imodium?
I have finally got it, I think. Brad has been feeding David's gambling addiction because he wants Nikki.

Cactus, I agree about the timing of the pregnancy...If Sabrina is pregnant by her old BF wouldn't she be showing by now? Did Victor get a reverse vasectomy that we don't remember?

Mary B, I didn't notice a rip in Nikki's dress but I'm laughing at the thought of it LOL.

Since when do strangers just walk into stranger's houses? (Sabrina's mom just waltzing into the ranch) Is that how they do it in Europe?

kko, a 'tool' is used among the youngins, it basically means a person who is trying too hard, a poser, has low self esteem, an idiot, etc. Basically an all around harsh insult. I LOLed when Nick called Adam a tool, I really did. ...still funny.

NConnie, I watch every day and I never saw a scene where Heather spilled any company secrets to Adam, which means, Adam must have come up with the green idea on his own. Surprise surprise, another thing for Jabot Vs. Newman....who will go green better!

Jean when I was growing up in CO there didn't seem to be a need for AC, but this state is getting hotter to the point where you do need it for about three months out of the year. When I was little, hitting 100 was rare; now it can be expected to hit 100 and higher for a few days in summer. I don't have central AC yet, still using fans and AC window units. I try to keep every single window in the house open 24/7 unless it's really hot out, and I don't lock anything at night. I love the fresh air.

Toodles,

Oh, so interesting regarding A/C units. We have two central units...One is as big as a battle ship, the other normal size for our bedroom, and bath.

Okay, I'm a "lock up" freak. Do you all sleep with your windows open??? Whow. Here all windows, doors are locked day and night, and I set the security system when going to bed. Even have locks on the gates that lead to the backyard. Guess I've lived in the "big city" way too long. Only in the spring and fall we open the windows to air out the house in the day, but close everything at night. Ceiling fans in every room.

Y&R - I have it on in the background to see Ashley. And haven't seen her yet.

Later - kitchen sig says closed...so I will abide by that.

Good weekend

Most "regular" homes here do not have A/C. We do, though, use ceiling fans. We still have air conditioning the old-fashioned way. You open windows early in the morning and then close the house up until evening. It cools off at nights here, so if you are able to leave your windows open, no problema. If you are a light sleeper like I am and would wake with the morning traffic or the birds chirping, not so good. Our high summers temps where I live do get into the 80's, but only for a short period of time. July is our hottest month. By the end of August we are cooling down. We do frequently get a nice spell of pleasant weather in the Fall. We don't have transitions between seasons here. It will be winter one day and literally spring the next. Same with fall to winter.
Happy First Day Of Summer everyone!

For about 12 years or more we had two dogs and two cats at the same time. The dogs were first and then we adopted two littermate cats that had been abandoned. One dog was standoffish and one cat was standoffish. One cat and one dog were best friends and even walked along so close to each other that their sides touched. So sweet and so cute. It was so strange when the standoffish dog died first of the four and the standoffish cat would go sit by the other dog as to comfort her.

I copied the following from another site for Tami:
The David Kimball Saga
The ruthless David Kimball is at the center of one of the most diabolical and murderous storylines in Y&R history. A stranger with a criminal past, David Kimball worked at Jabot Cosmetics under the unsuspecting Jill Abbott. At first, David appeared kind and good-hearted, but time would expose him for what he was, a master of manipulation with unquenchable thirst for money and blood.

Jill was attracted to the handsome David and the two began a love affair that lasted for several months. David knew that Jill was connected to the Chancellor fortune and he planned to extort the money. When Jill fired David and began a relationship with Michael Crawford, he moved on to the next Chancellor heiress, Nina. Nina eventually gave into David's incessant courting and the two began a relationship despite opposition from Danny, Christine, and Chase. There was something strange about David that Christine could not trust and she confronted him about his sketchy ways.

When David realized that Cricket was getting in the way of his plans, he threatened to cut her face into pieces if she didn't stay out of his business. David's threat confirmed her suspicions and Cricket went directly to Nina to warn her of David's cruel intentions. Nina, however, was blinded by love and refused to hear Cricket's warnings. He signed a prenuptial agreement to prove his love to Nina and the couple married soon after. Once married, however, Nina drafted a new will and named David heir to the Chancellor fortune.

With the groundwork in place, David began the second phase of his plan. Nina created a company named David A. Kimball Investments to keep her new husband occupied. David began to have an affair with Diane, the mailroom attendant, who would later become his partner in crime. It was Diane who first discovered David Kimball's real identity and sordid past.

While working in the mailroom, Diane read a newspaper article about a man named Tom Harper who had been accused of murdering his rich wife, Rebecca. There was a photograph of the couple and Diane noticed that Tom Harper bore a striking resemblance to David Kimball. What's more, the brooch worn by Rebecca Harper looked exactly like the one David gave to Nina!

David tried to cover his tracks but when a friend of Rebecca's named Vivian attempted to expose him as the killer, he had to act fast. Vivian was trying to find the brooch to prove that David murdered Rebecca. David reached her first and she was found electrocuted in her bathtub. Christine took up where she left off and began to research the origin of Nina's brooch. While she was with Danny in New Jersey, she found the jeweler who identified the brooch as belonging to Rebecca Harper. David framed Danny for drug possession to get the couple off his tail but all charges where eventually dropped. Back at the Chancellor Estate, David was having problems with Jill and Katherine too; they were constantly discouraging Nina from letting him adopt baby Phillip.

Throughout the whole ordeal, Nina was still unsuspecting of her husband. The warnings from her friends and family started to bother her and she contemplated moving away Genoa City. Eventually Nina discovered that David had been spying on her for months. Feeling betrayed, she became suspicious and went to his office to search for clues. What she discovered was David and Diane plotting to steal her fortune. She learned that David had framed Danny and that he was planning to murder both her and her son and skip town with her money.

When David got home that night, Nina welcomed him with 5 shots in the chest. David survived the shooting and Nina was arrested for his attempted murder. Out on bail, she fled Genoa City and planned to hide out in Mexico. Christine persuaded her to return home and face the music. Nina was put on trial and found not guilty of the crime.

Meanwhile, David was in the hospital faking paralysis and waiting for the right moment to seek his revenge against Nina, Christine and Danny. He stole a body from the morgue, planted it in his hospital bed and set it on fire thereby faking his own death. He reunited with his partner in crime, Diane, and went to visit a plastic surgeon. David wanted a new identity and asked the surgeon, could you make me look like David Hasselhoff? The surgeon, however, was aware of David's evil intentions and carved the word KILLER on his forehead instead!

David's second attempt at disguising himself was more successful. He dyed his hair, grew a mustache, and underwent facial reconstruction to become Jim Adams. With his new look and a southern accent, David/Jim reentered Genoa City on a new mission. He married Flo, Nina's mom, in order to get closer to his targets. Everything came to a head at Genoa City's charity event of the year, the masquerade ball (Y&R's most elaborate staged production to date). David/Jim copied Danny's costume and disguised himself as a wolf (how appropriate). He waited for the right moment, drew his gun, and then shot Christine, Danny and Nina! Fortunately, his gun had been loaded with wax bullets and all three victims survived. David/Jim quickly jumped into a closet to avoid detective Paul Williams. Unfortunately for him, he had ducked into a garbage chute and was crushed to death by the compactor.

Tami, the character's name was David Kimball, he was hired by Jill and he married Nina who had been widowed by Jill's son Phillip, The only problem was he was nuts and out for the money. He went into a garbage machine and got what was coming to him after terriozing Nina and Cricket.

The name of the new Beauty of Nature is Newman Infinity, personally I like Beauty of Nature better sounds more natural, more green than Newman unless your talking green backs.

Cactus: It would take a stack of 3"x5" cards to keep the names on Y&R straight. "Beauty of Nature" is the name of the cosmetic company owned by Newman, that Adam has revamped into all green, renamed "Newman Infinity". The web magazine is called "Restless Style" (stupid name IMO too many sssssssses). I don't know the name of the new green product line that Victoria is doing. Must have lost that card....anybody? anybody???? I think it's NUsomething.

You've got to say the Victator is stupendous, after lighting 500 candles he still has enough energy to generate some action. Sabrina is like a blow-up doll, beautiful with no substance.

Adam and Heather are on different teams, which will no doubt lead to one or both compromising their ethics. Heather was very interested in Adam's green Newman Infinity.

Is Ashley back to stay for a while? She sure has turned into a five-letter "B" word.

I'm a little lost here, but is Adam advertising his new "green" product in the issue of Beauty of Nature that is going green at the same time -- so they will be one step ahead of Adam?

mercury retrograde over tomorrow, but advice is to wait until monday before making any big decisions

today is the full moon -- and not necessarily a good one for most -- but the trouble this full moon will bring should be short-lived

no air conditioning for most seattle homes -- and even some office buildings -- we have none at home, i do at office

we have always had cats and dogs at the same time -- most was two dogs, three cats -- now have one dog, two cats -- all get along just great -- we never even think about them not getting along, we just bring the newest animal home and plunk him or her in the midst and all has gone very well

okay, this was an "answer questions" email, i guess

Jean,
We have a ceiling fan in the living room and a box fan for the bedroom, but as of this year so far we have only ran the ceiling fan a couple of times. The temps haven't been that high except for a couple days and Fireman hooked up our daughter's old AC that was in storage in our basement to help me sleep easier those two nights, as my schedule for work was crazy and he wanted me to rest. The AC will be heading to my daughter's and I will put the box fan up if we ever get any need for it. We had the woodstove going a couple times this month just to warm the house up as the evenings were cool and damp.

Question - for all my northern friends. Regarding A/C, do you have window units, or central units, or none at all?

Toots - we had to replace our A/C unit a year before we moved. It was 11 years old, but it got struck my lighttning, so I guess you can't count that...it was doing nicely. Furnance was still going strong, but then again you have colder weather than we do.

Oh, and Toots, our dogs got so used to workmen coming in and out of our house when we moved in, the workmen had to step over them in the hallways while they slept. LOL

adb - is the Mercury thing over with? I think you said the 14th or 18th. Dan has a Big thing to answer to (swith jobs), and I told him to wait!!!

Y&R - haven't even caught a sec in a few weeks. I think the last time I watched on a regular basis, was when Dru fell off the cliff. Totally turn it off when Jack and Nikki were running for senate....so how long ago was that??

Later - chicken salad tonight. Around 100 the last week so this seems like comfort food. Oh, and I don't mind the heat at all....Pinkie, just hydrate, which you know.

Oh happy day to me and Duke. We had a wonderful evening ....... dinner out with friends, and then another get together with neighbour/friends ------- a good time. I am a very lucky person to have so many warm people in my life. And I love them all. Dinner tomorrow with my daughter in Toronto. Life is good.

lol, I don't know bout Nikki's black dress with a hole ....... my hubby sure noticed Lauren's "hole", lol lol lol!!!

Nurse .............. ohhhhhhhh nuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrse!!! love the name choice. Irish gaelic translation of my surname is "McQuillean"; gaelic for "Holly". Paternal ancestral roots were Irish before they ran off to West Highlands of Scotland.

I like Karen. Spoiler alert: she ain't out of the picture yet. Did you see Neil's biceps? al right!!!!!!!!!!!!

lol at "Lily's diaper" ......... how ugly was that thing. repeat after me: Reeeeeeeeeeeekolaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh. Swiss miss. Only thing missing was the hair in braids. lol lol.

Sabrina looked beautiful in the wedding gown. very classy. But the baby ain't his!!!!!!!!!!

IT has been a longgggg day. Men here at five till eight and left at six o 'clock... ran into a few problems had to adjust some pipes, then one of the men cut his hand on the metal seven stitches...ouch..so long day for every one. Buffie is asleep on the couch we were up at six..
I did see Y&R~ Glo and Jeff have a love hate relationship for sure....
The outfit on Neils daughter was horrible!!!!Ever noticed how these girls, women wear these short short outfits then have to sit with their hands down in front of them not to show their panties IF they have any on???? Looks soooo uncomfortable! OK out of here LOL

Selfish high maintenance drama queen! LOL LOL Adam is so smug and is really flaunting his preferred status with Victor to Nick and Vicki. Loved when Nick called him slick today. He called him a tool, too. I am guessing that is NOT a good thing and I have heard it before but not sure what it is supposed to mean. Lilly's skirt looked like an oversized diaper. A full one! LOL LOL Tired of Gloria and Jeffery always fighting. HATE when Victor and Sabrina "try" to kiss. I bet she hates her job right now! LOL LOL I was watching at the time but don't remember the whole Victor sperm bank story. Why would he have saved his swimmers if he didn't want anymore children to the point of having a vasectomy?

Pinky, sorry you and Pinkey are dealing with this. It seems all of us will end up with the C word, somewhere someday. Just too much of it and we all get older. Treatments do work miriacles, but faith and prayer are pretty powerful additions to the treatment.Good luck.

Maybe Victor has forgotten too. He is an AARP member, I'm sure. Should we all send him a note? There are a few vasectomy babies walking around this world, though.

Gosh I don't think Glo could do much more to the people helping her. In fact, the pool house may nto be safe!
I heard Ashley is on her way back to GC...does she get on with Glo?
Then we'll have Abby as a teenager, and Noah after camp will be too, and then we'll have more teen angst.
I don't trust or believe a word out of Adam's mouth. Scary dude.Great character they are creating. OH GEEZ what if ADAM and Sabrina were together before GC.
Glo really GLows in red.
Did anyone notice Nikki had a small rip in her black dress last week?
It was at the back near the arms.

Just checked in and see it is Emelie's birthday! Hope your day is fun and you are spoiled.

I had forgotten about Victor's swimmers problem! How COULD the writers think we are so dumb (I guess they think everyone is like me, short memory.) If Sabrina is pregnant by her previous boyfriend, she should be having a VERY EARLY delivery, like tomorrow. I guess time will tell.

Nurse Connie: Great news, very pretty name.

WILL Jeffrey spill the beans to Jill? I think he will.

Pinkie, Sorry to hear that cancer showed up, but I will send good thoughts and prayers to Mr. Pinkey.

Victor did have a vasectomy, Ashely stole some of the frozen supply and had herself impregnated. Guess he is one Super He Man and can overcome anything! When Sabrina came to see Vickie she said she had left a relationship behind so I think the baby is from that relationship not Victor.

I like Jeff and Gloria together, the love hate thing kind of works for them. I like the Gloria acting the last week or so, it has been humerous, she is a good actress.I know Lauren was mad today, however I do think that with Jill and Jeff right there I would not have fired Gloria in front of them so Jill could gloat.

Toots, good to chat with you, sorry about the furnace.

I thought Victor had a vasectomy several years ago and that is why his swimmers were frozen. How could Sabrina be pregnant if he did get snipped?????? The writers need to look back a few years at the storylines!!! For a while we didn't know if Ashley or Diane Jenkins or Nikki stole the frozen sperm, but as it turned out it was Ashley who got artificially inseminated with them. That is where Abby came from! Oh brother!!!!

Ref: Father's day. My dad always worked very hard but tried to spend time with my older brother and me,(and foster sister) teaching us values and respect. He enjoyed taking us fishing and hunting and how to respect the "great outdoors". All of us worked, because we enjoyed being praised for doing good work. Also gave us money for baseballs, gloves bats etc LOL. Many times I watched my dad, help out others that had less,(sometimes we suffered)but was another life lesson on humanity and humility. Even though he passed a year ago at age 85, married almost 60 yrs. I still find myself talking and consulting him about many things. I agree NC, would love to sit and ask many more question. Happy belated Fathers Day Dad. Love You.

Mary W- simple answer, NO!!!!Only have had two loves, my boyfriend from high school thru college, then went 8 years till I found Dan. In those 8 years, I dated now and again, but NEVER needed a man around. My dad was fine, played baseball with us after work, fly kites, etc, just was stating that he loved my brother more, and I knew it.

I know one couple that have two cats and two dogs, and they just ignore each other.

I took him to the vet for his annuals, and he was in perfect health (almost 15), and three days later, in the middle of the night he started bucking like a horse, spinning around in circles and peeing on himself. We think he had a stroke. Anyway we put off you know what for about three weeks.

MaryB - Nope, can't think of a father that sticks out. Back in my day, and my town, the fathers pampered the boys, and mothers, the girls. So I was never close to any fathers, not even my own. My friends kids are grown, and I couldn't pick one out that is "outstanding."

Mmm custard pie it has to have great crust, though, which Toots surely makes. KKO you could put chocolate sprinkles on it, or a dollop of chocolate grenache. The beauty of it is the simplicty and nice vanilla flavor. A chocolate version could be a chocolate silk pie.

The aret stuff on YR is just their diversion I think. Since Sabrina is into modern and the professor is into Nazi stolen art, it is different, except it MIGHT be a huge stolen art ring out of Europe. Janna is a bridge to them all. But she acts so clueless and in awe of their places...but so educated about art.

I once new someone who lost a 22 year old cat? Any toppers for that one?

Does anyone have memories of some amazing father? THere's someone I remember from the 80's. He worked so hard for his kids, and a wife who was a very very early Alzheimer patient. The kids moved on to be very successful adults, and he is left to manage her care and work so hard to pay for it. They help him but he's still there. God bless him. Sabrina is waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too boring for Victor. So far she is too nice to be a character on Y & R. She must have a past we don't know about yet. I don't see how she could be pregnant by anyone else because of the timeline of her affair with Victor.

I am sorry the 'Retail Gloria' story has come to a quick end. I can enjoy Y & R when they use humour. Lauren was great, too.

Neil's visit to Karen was a waste of air time. Same with Chloe, get rid of her already.

Mark my words, something is going to come of Jana/Jenna?'s relationship with Sabrina.

I'm sorry to be so dull and boring because the weather is perfect for me and I'm really interested in everyones problems on y&r and I wonder if Victor really is the Father of Sabrinas baby. She must have a past.

Pinkie ....... I'm sorry for your loss. Those words sound so scripted, and I don't mean them to be. We lost Tippy to liver cancer two years ago, and it all happened within 7 weeks ...... we didn't even know about the tumor on her liver until she couldn't produce bile to break down her stool ..... and so we opted to have her relieved of her ordeal ....... so fast, so fast. In May there were no symptoms, and in July she was gone. I miss her yet. So I do mean it when I say, "I'm sorry for your loss".
As for our move, I'll feel better tomorrow night when my treadmill has been relocated ........... it's so big and heavy, and I feel horrid asking anyone to move it. I never should have put it up here on the top floor.

So now Mikey's father is in Canada. Didn't we just have this storyline with Victor's father? Poor ol' Glo, can't do anything right. I wish Jill would back off a bit ...... she's a shrew.

sparkie ......... Dover was a huge success , I see. Been listening to the bikes going down Hwy. 24 since early this morning.

Did anyone else read about Tim Russert? WHAT A SHOCK!!

Rest in Peace Mikey
He passed away before i could get him back to the Vets cried all the way there and when I got him into the office he took his last breath ...
He was a Good cat I have had him since he was born.. He Nursed on my ear lobe . played hide n seek & tag .. Was the most pickiest eaters I ever had and would rather die then eat hard food ... The vet said it was cancer .. amazing that the last 2 months we couldn't feed him enough food and in 3 days took a nose dive . But Cancer is the silent killer .. does most of its damage before any signs of it... Thank you all ....
the move in is still in progress will be in officially July 1rst...Emilie
hope all is going well with your move I'm excited ...
